The dedicated team of Gainesboro Volunteer Fire and Rescue is on standby twenty four hours a day, seven days a week in order to keep residents of Gainesboro and the surrounding area safe. We host fundraisers on a regular basis, so check in often to see what is coming up! If you're 16 years of age or older and interested in helping the community by volunteering, we are always accepting applications!

As a small volunteer fire department, the support of our community is vital in keeping our equipment and station operating properly. On top of daily expenses, we just took delivery of a 2023 Sutphen Pumper at the cost of $600k.
