Around 1315 hours a drowning assignment was dispatched to the Lake Holiday subdivision. The initial reports were a patient missing in the water. The assignment brought Engine Company 16, Rescue Companies 16,14, Boat 16, and Rescue Engine 15 (due to 20's being out of service), and ALS1. Upon arrival of the units, lifeguards and bystanders found the male and brought him to shore. Personnel from all companies worked together in attempting to resuscitate the patient and loading him into the ambulance. Medic 16-2 transported priority 1 and units went in service.
