At 1024 hours this morning 16 was alerted for a subject entrapped under a riding mower. Engine 16, Rescue 16-2, ALS-1 and Rescue Engine 20 responded. Upon arrival units were met with a male patient under the lawn tractor unable to feel his legs. Due to the severity of the injuries AirCare was alerted. Rescue Engine 20 arrived on scene and the patient was then extricated and taken to the the landing zone at Gainesboro Elem. School. Patient was flown to Fairfax hospital and units went in service. The members would like to wish a full and speedy recovery for the patient.
